10 Best Big Men In Wrestling Today
4. Big E
Big E was considered a can't-miss prospect when he defeated Seth Rollins to become NXT Champion, and while still reigning as the brand's titleholder, he debuted on Raw. Of course, nothing is guaranteed the way WWE is run, and the company very nearly "missed" on the big guy - Big E spent a couple of years in the undercard, and despite a reign as Intercontinental Champion, the promotion handled him terribly.
That's all in the past, now. As part of The New Day, Big E has been a WWE Tag Team Champion for nearly a year and is part of the company's hottest act. He's gotten a chance to show off his charisma and his skill. As a 5'11", 285-pound former powerlifter, he's clearly capable of great feats of strength, but that's only the half of it. Like Rusev, he knows how to use his size and strength in a way that makes sense, and he's also willing to put his body on the line for a thrilling high spot.
As great as The New Day are, it would be a huge shame if Big E never gets any higher than he is right now. The former NXT Champion could easily be a future WWE Champion, whether beside The New Day or after a heel turn. Hopefully the company realizes that.
