10 Best Things About WWE Network After One Year

Happy birthday WWE Network.

The WWE Network launched one year ago this week, February 24, 2014 to be precise. WWE celebrated the occasion by promoting it heavily while also having their superstars sing Happy Birthday in a video that ended up with a food fight after The Miz had a cake thrown in his face. Last month following the Royal Rumble, WWE bragged about how they had reached 1 million worldwide subscribers in just 11 months. It took longer for them to get to that mark because their debut in the UK/Ireland was delayed continuously while Canadians had to wait several months as well. Other markets around the world also had to wait because it was really just the American fans that have been able to have it for a year. They should be proud of their success and we, the wrestling fans, should be happy that it's here because it has saved a lot of us a lot of money. It's also provided us with hours of wrestling content that we only would have had access to if we had DVDs, VHS tapes or were fortunate enough to find on Youtube, Dailymotion or some other site online. What's great about WWE Network is the quality of shows are as good as can be with all the new material in HD, so it really is the best resource for any true wrestling fan. Do they have their issues? Sure. However, it seems like people would rather complain than acknowledge all the great stuff that exists already. That's why it's time to look at some of the best things about WWE Network after the first year. Let's look at the content instead of saying what's wrong. Here's a closer look at ten of the best things about WWE Network after its first birthday.
