10 Best Wrestling Giants

3. The Giant

The Giant Andre WCW
WWE Network

Long before he was known for his staggering number of face and heel turns, before the numerous humiliations, firings, and crying scenes, before Floyd Mayweather knocked him out and Akebono made him look stupid, The Big Show was known as The Giant in WCW, and he was awesome.

Literally the only good thing about The Dungeon of Doom, The Giant made a huge and immediate impact upon his arrival, falling off Cobo Hall after a monster truck shoving match, only to return later that night and win the World Heavyweight Title in very convoluted fashion.

But WCW-era twists aside, The Giant helped redefine what big men could do in wrestling, unleashing dropkicks and chokeslams with equal power.

It's been a long, strange, weight-fluctuating trip for Paul Wight, but there's no denying it: he's the best fake son Andre ever had.
