10 Best Wrestling Moments Of The Last Decade

Era-ending, culture-shifting, cancer-beating, industry-changing, 'Man'-defining.

Cm Punk John Cena

10 years.

Summing up a period of time that length is difficult when so much has changed since 2010. WWE are no longer a McMahon monopoly running sole rule over industry guidelines, and some of the biggest names who headlined pay-per-views a decade ago are barely (if at all) around. Oh yes, things have changed alright.

Leave negativity at the door though, for this is a positive trip down memory lane looking back at the absolute best things that have happened in wrestling since the glitzy, kid-friendly days of 2010. As the market leader, WWE take centre stage and predominantly feature here, but they're not alone now. 2019 shifted paradigms, and it hints at a bright future outside the "worldwide leader in sports entertainment's" walls.

Big debuts altered WWE's destiny, old warriors waved goodbye for the time being, an unlikely offshoot established itself as a powerhouse to be taken seriously, new companies were founded and women were finally given the chance to show what they were capable of if wrasslin' could only move on from archaic eye candy tropes.

10 years, 10 big moments and a lifetime of memories awaits...
