The uncrowned champion who never lost his Universal Title, Finn Balor is probably in the running to win the Fatal Five Way at Extreme Rules and face Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire in July. He won’t win; Brock is being saved to finally drop the belt to Roman Reigns, as far out as next year’s WrestleMania. But the fans will rally behind Finn to reclaim what he never lost.
Like Nakamura, Finn is an enigma with a spectacular entrance when he becomes the Demon. Like Rollins and Styles, he’s one of the top workers on the roster. Like Joe and Owens, he’s had success in the independents and as NXT Champion. He’s the total package, and again, he’s around full time, and the most deserving of all superstars to be a world champion.
