There's no getting around the fact that WrestleMania 39 ended on a bit of a low note.

The Tribal Chief conquering Cody Rhodes in the main event of Night 2 sucked the air right out of a weekend that had actually been pretty darn fun pre-American Nightmare.

Said dream battle between Rhodes and Reigns was as strong a main event war as any fans have been treated to over the last decade, too; again, before Solo Sikoa spiked his thumb through the hearts of fans the world over.

Showcase tag showings also had their breathless moments. Brock and Omos joyfully smashed one another. Flair and Ripley delivered and then some. Rey hilariously whooped his son's ass. And even Shane McMahon's one-legged disaster comeback eventually gave folks the doggiest People's Elbow of all time.

It's now time to tentatively look towards the future, though, and to the potential string of dream showdowns WWE could quite possibly throw together in the coming months - if they feel like making things up to an audience still reeling from The Grandest Screwjob of Them All.

From epic Bloodline wars, to first-time-ever blockbusters, these are those mouth-watering contests WWE simply have to make a reality in the post-WrestleMania period...

10. IYO SKY Vs. Asuka

Since making the official jump up to the main roster at SummerSlam 2022, IYO SKY has actually shared the squared-circle with The Empress of Tomorrow on numerous occasions.

And just about every single time they have collided in everything from tag team to WarGames settings, the two have displayed the sort of undeniable chemistry that demands to be given some space to grow.

The pair definitely sit as two of the most talented in-ring performers ever to set foot in a WWE ring. And, if given the freedom to tell the sort of compelling physical story they routinely did down in NXT, both Japanese former NXT Women's Champions could see their stock hugely rise in a women's division in dire need of a few compelling singles rivalries.

Raw fans absolutely lapped up their electric, Japanese promo back-and-forth a few months back and constantly lose their minds whenever they share the squared-circle.

IYO herself has also openly admitted that the first person she wants to get her hands on upon finally being pushed as a singles performer is the blue-mist-spitting Asuka. So, give both SKY and the people precisely what they've wanted for months, dammit.
