9. The Revival Vs. American Alpha
Yes, this match has happened already at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, and yes, it was amazing. You know what isn't amazing? How both of these teams have been portrayed since the day each was respectively called up to the main roster.
The Revival quite literally revived tag team wrestling down in NXT. Through in-ring psychology and the use of every old-school trick in the book, Dash and Dawson managed to cheat their way to the top so perfectly that it was impossible to not root for their opponents. And has there ever been a more perfect set of sympathetic opponents than Chad Gable and Jason Jordan?
American Alpha might have been the easiest tag team of the last five years to root for not named DIY. They're fun, they're flashy, they work hard, and most importantly, they're both very American as well as very alpha. These guys are just about as organic as it gets, and the crowd reception has always been proof.
Just like The Revival, Jordan and Gable had perfect synergy with each other, so seeing another clash between these two cohesive units - provided, with fingers crossed, that Jordan isn't finished as an in-ring performer - at their best would produce pure tag team magic.
