Wrestlers - like any human beings - have a tendency to do stupid things sometimes.

That being said, this is the world of professional wrestling.

So, you'd think that most of these stars would have learnt to expect the unexpected, after an eternity of constant swerves, surprises and fortunes changing in an instant.

Yet, more often than not, wrestlers that are portrayed as quite wiley or even streetwise, tend to find themselves with egg on their face - on multiple occasions in some cases.

You can't expect everyone to be on their game every night. However, these moments of stupidity or just plain arrogance deserve to be chastised, as they were downright idiotic from the second they came into existence.

Would you risk arguably the biggest match of your career just to teach a little sh*t a lesson? Probably not, yet for some ridiculous reason one of these savvy performers thought that would be a great idea.

If you are a wrestler who has continually proved yourself to be a shrewd talent, you can bet your ass it's going to stick out when you make a ludicrous decision - like the one above.

So without further ado, let's all have a chuckle at the 10 Dumbest Decisions Made By Seemingly Intelligent Wrestlers.

10. Daniel Bryan Kisses AJ Lee At The Dumbest Moment

On his way into WrestleMania XXVIII, Daniel Bryan had displayed some high-level intelligence in his capturing of the World Heavyweight Championship.

Winning that year's SmackDown Money in the Bank ladder match, Bryan fooled everyone by declaring that he would only be cashing his title in at 'Mania. He would then go back on that statement a few times - trying on numerous occasions to cash-in his briefcase - only to finally come good at December 2011's TLC PPV.

Bryan would turn heel shortly after this event and managed to keep hold of his title through any means necessary.

That was until he met one Celtic (Royal Rumble-winning) Warrior in the form of Sheamus and let his over-confidence finally get the better of him at 'Mania XXVIII.

Despite treating AJ Lee like trash in the lead up to the Show of Shows, she still stood by Bryan and accompanied him to the ring on the night. Then, she went one better and offered to give 'The American Dragon' a good luck kiss before he locked up.

Instead of declining and focussing on the mammoth task at hand, Bryan let his guard down and indulged in a bit of intimacy before one of the biggest matches of his life.

Sheamus rightfully sensed his head wasn't in the game and Brogue kicked Bryan's head off, winning the title in just 18 seconds and ending Bryan's 105-day reign as champ.

Support is all well and good, but Bryan paid a lofty price for losing sight of what he was actually in the ring to do and this idiotic kiss sealed his fate on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
