The Undertaker improved his WrestleMania record to a staggering 15-0 after wresting Batista's World Heavyweight title in a sleeper of a good match. Most were well aware of The Streak by this point, but fewer knew that Edge had his own perfect record going. After toppling Mick Foley in the blood-and-fire stunt-show a year earlier, "The Rated-R Superstar" brought his mark to 5-0 at WrestleMania.

Edge took part in an eight-man Money in the Bank opener at WrestleMania 23, and was famously incapacitated by Jeff Hardy's sitdown splash, as Edge lie prone on a ladder bridge. The spot was Mania moment-worthy, and took Edge out of the picture. Mr. Kennedy would be the one claiming the briefcase, as well as obscure bragging rights as Edge's "conqueror".

Food for thought: if Edge won this match (and he may as well have, since he won Kennedy's briefcase a month later), WWE could've run Undertaker vs. Edge at WrestleMania 24, streak vs. streak. 15-0 vs. 6-0 with the World Heavyweight title on the line? A lost opportunity.
