10 Fun Facts From My Trip To WWE WrestleMania 29

A Money In The Bank cash-in saves a mediocre 'Mania and Fandango shocks Jericho!

WrestleMania returning to the New York City area was a dream come true for me, since it combined my favourite annual wrestling event with the city I love the most. Early reports confirmed that The Rock would return for another match and this would also be Brock Lesnar's first 'Mania back since 2004 when the event was last held in the NY area. I was sold and promptly booked my flights. After telling Billy Gunn to F**ck off and running up a $400 bar tab on someone else's credit card, my friend John decided not to come back to WrestleMania. So, me and my other, more responsible buddies set off to the Big Apple for a week of wrestling festivities culminating at MetLife Stadium for what we hoped would be a great show. In 2013, I decided to steer clear of the convention scene and enjoy a little more of New York. With so many bars, restaurants and tourist attractions, I split my time running to wrestling shows and checking out new hotspots. I did get the chance to attend an Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan Q&A which sadly wasn't half as good as I'd hoped. Thankfully the theatre had a bar, so I drowned my sorrows. The highlight of the event was a fan trying to make a joke that Eric was pregnant and Bischoff just telling the guy to 'go f**k himself'. Say what you will about Easy E, but his no nonsense answers are the best. Besides that little gem, here are my favourite memories from my trip to WrestleMania NY/NJ for WrestleMania 29.
