10 Hypothetical WWE Brawl For All 2016 Contestants

7. Braun Strowman

Here's an entry unlikely to have been entered in the Brawl For All back in 1998.

One look at the 6'8", 385 lb. Braun Strowman and, from the average fan's perspective, he'd be a fantastic pick in a shoot fighting tournament. But back in 1998, many of WWE's big men did not participate in the Brawl For All.

A man with the look and size of Braun Strowman is a dream talent for Vince McMahon and putting him into a shoot-style tournament could result in his monster persona being crushed before it gets started. Unlike some of the super heavyweights out of WWE's past, however, Strowman actually has a history as being a legit toughman. Literally.

The real-life Adam Scherr has won numerous championships in strength athletics, including the 2012 Arnold Schwarzenegger Amateur Strongman World Championship. Strowman caught the eye of WWE because of his success in these toughman competitions and signed with the pro-wrestling promotion in 2013 at the age of 29.

Braun is far from your average grappler and a man of his size would surely make for an aesthetic mismatch against nearly all other WWE superstars likely to compete in a Brawl For All tournament, but he has the background that suggests he'd do alright. Probably more than alright.
