10 Important Steps In Kane's WWE Evolution

Kane has been around for nearly two decades, managing to remain fresh throughout.

Throughout the past seventeen years, Kane has stood the test of time within the WWE. While countless other superstars fell by the wayside over the years, the Big Red Monster is one of the few who can lay claim to such a long and storied career. Much like his kayfabe brother, The Undertaker, Kane has managed to do what many others failed to. The key to his long run within the WWE has been his ability to evolve. Much like Evolution€™s recent slogan of €œadapt or perish,€ Kane chose the former route, while many of his contemporaries succumbed to the latter. To the untrained eye, the Demon€™s character has seemingly remained largely the same. However, Kane has managed to add a plethora of layers and dimensions to his character as the years wore on. The character fans are faced with today is far different than the one that initially debuted way back in 1997. So, join us as we travel through the long career of the Devil€™s Favorite Demon and current Director of Operations for the Authority. Along the way, we€™ll peel back the many layers of the proverbial onion, revealing the evolutionary steps Kane took along the way. The following ten steps are what allowed Kane to remain fresh and relevant while many of his peers succumbed to the company€™s ever-changing culture.
