10 Insane Wrestling Moves AJ Styles Doesn't Do Anymore

3. Fosbury Flop

Fosbury Flop
TNA

In 1968, Dick Fosbury debuted an innovative maneuver which helped him claim gold in the Olympics' high jump event. He ran at the bar and jumped backwards, bending his body over it as he went. The technique soon became the prevailing one in the sport and remains so to this day.

AJ Styles decided to use the Fosbury Flop as a wrestling maneuver, making for a unique offensive attack. Like Fosbury, he would run to the ropes, then leap backwards and arch over the top. Unlike the gold medalist, though, he had more room to fall, so he completed a flip onto his opponent.

It's been a while since Styles used this move, but if he can still pull it off, it might make for an exciting WrestleMania moment.
