10 Most Badass Wrestlers In The World Today

7. Ronda Rousey

The problem with 'The Baddest Women on the Planet' calling herself that is that the mask occasionally slips when tasked with acting or emoting WWE style. Though these aspects of her performance improved throughout her rookie year, they're comfortably the weakest tools in Ronda Rousey's arsenal, which is a shame when everything else is close to brilliant.

Angry Rousey is the most compelling Rousey. She came out of her shell as a Sports Entertainment badass in the three-way WrestleMania 35 feud, but had demonstrated menace and toughness long before that as well, particularly in Royal Rumble 2019's clash with Sasha Banks. A sloppy, attritional battle fought on the edge of control, the match's lack of sheen and polish worked to its benefit, ensuring that when Rousey emerged victorious, she flooked like somebody who'd survived a war.

Ronda's in-ring provides most of the reasons for her coming across like such a killer, particularly as her armbar would immediately finish any main roster woman within seconds of a real fight breaking out. She scowls, stomps, and screams as well, and while not always 100% convincing, few feel as threatening when dialled in.
