10 Nastiest Sibling Rivalries In Wrestling

Cain and Abel were only the first. No one hates like brothers do...

There are a whole lot of family connections in the wrestling business, and not all of them are real. That€™s everyone€™s first lesson when becoming a fan of professional wrestling: learn to tell the difference between storyline actions and connections and real life actions and connections. Of course, sometimes the line between a work and a shoot becomes blurred, and sometimes (especially in WWE) storylines will be retconned and change over time. It€™s nothing if not confusing, even for us scarred and grizzled veteran fans. That said, one of the greatest kinds of angle that can exist in the world of pro wrestling is the sudden enmity between members of the same family€ but, this being pro wrestling, they don€™t actually have to be related in real life to be able to take advantage of that connection. In WWE€™s current storylines, twin tag partners Brie and Nikki Bella have split and are engaged in a highly personal feud, a storyline that perfectly encapsulates how best to handle a nasty schism between siblings in a pro wrestling feud. It€™s an absolute shame that it€™s being handled between these two, of course (the Bellas having the acting ability and natural charisma of rotten driftwood), but their lack of ability doesn€™t invalidate the sheer power of the angle. To commiserate with fans having to sit through Brie Bella€™s crying face and Nikki Bella€™s angry face for the next few weeks of RAW, we proudly present the family feuds that have lit wrestling on fire over the years: the nastiest sibling rivalries in history.
