10 New Year's Resolutions For Wrestling Fans In 2018

2. Stop Hijacking WWE Programming

Running parallel to that entitlement is the way several wrestling fans act out when attending WWE live events. It's not only young children who behave this way either; look around at any taping of Raw or SmackDown and you'll see grown men and women act like rebellious teenagers. Why else do you think the Bullet Club have managed to make so much money for being outsiders sticking to their guns?

They represent that same contempt for authority that has been rife since the Attitude Era, only now the teenagers from the '90s are adults who love poking fun at John Cena for dressing like a kid when they're doing the same. In all seriousness, those 'CM Punk' chants are fooling nobody, and they're akin to teens refusing to tell parents they love them lest school mates think they're dorks.

Buying a ticket for any WWE event and then rebelling against it is futile. If you're not a fan, don't go. There are plenty of other wrestling promotions suited to your tastes, and those in the stands who do like what they're seeing surely won't miss your 'smart' comments or need to cheer the heels and boo the faces.
