Last week we found out that Dolph Ziggler's WWE contract is set to expire soon. Ziggler, who has not been utilized as a main event star in a while, is reportedly mulling over leaving the biggest company in wrestling for pastures new.

Dolph obviously has the talent. He can put on great matches with almost anyone. The 2014 Survivor Series was one of the last real chances that he was given to steal a major show and the reaction he received was phenomenal. Down 3 on 1 against Team Authority he mounted a memorable comeback (with slight help from Sting) that could have vaulted him back into a major program. It didn't.

Dolph should be frustrated with his spot in the company right now and like his friend John Morrison before him, the grass could look greener on the other side. Outside of WWE, Ziggler would create himself a ton of possibilities for matches that weren't possible before. Many great wrestlers have never worked with The Show Off and it would be interesting to see what they could do with him.

Here are ten wrestlers that the Show Off could have show-stealers with, should he wrestle them in the near future.

10. Vs. Kurt Angle

When thinking about dream matches for any wrestlers, Kurt Angle's name is bound to come up. The current TNA World Champion is a legend that can still have great matches.

Pitting Angle against Dolph Ziggler makes even more sense than the average wrestler because of his amateur wrestling background. He's even named Kurt as an influence of his.

In 2013, Dolph talked to Windsor Star News Cafe about how Angle inspired him to take the paths he did in life:

“I’m not a bigger guy, so I told myself that if I could break some records in college, because of how good Kurt Angle was doing at the time with WWE, that I’d have a shot to get my foot in the door. I was lucky enough, I did well in college, they gave me a shot, they knew I was a fan and it all worked out.”

Give them a straight wrestling match, a 2 out 3 falls match, or perhaps even a submission match. These two would put on a clinic.
