Stone Cold Steve Austin versus Brock Lesnar is match that fans have always wanted to see. Both men have talked about is as being their own dream match, but fate has always kept them apart. It goes back to when Austin walked out of WWE in 2002, when he was scheduled to face The Next Big Thing. He was unhappy at how the creative was booked, specifically plans that called for him to lose to Lesnar in a basic Raw match. He retired a year later and Lesnar himself walked out a year after that. Brock went on to become UFC Champion, before returning to WWE in 2012. Around that same time, Austin started making noises about how he was the healthiest and fittest he'd been in years. Constantly stoking the flames of speculation, he has never fully ruled out one last match in the WWE.
