10 Reasons The Undertaker Shouldn't Retire At WWE WrestleMania 32

Reverse the hearse, there's life in the deadman.

Many people have been presuming, for over a year now, that The Undertaker will be retiring at WrestleMania 32. The timing seemed right, with him being fifty years old, having accomplished everything there is to accomplish, already being on a limited part-time schedule and Texas being his home state and all. The feeling was that it would be a hell of a sendoff, one last dance in front of WWE's biggest crowd of all time. But as the event approaches, it all of a sudden feels a bit too soon to be saying goodbye to the Deadman. After WrestleMania XXX, fans were ready for him to retire because he looked done in that terrible match with Brock Lesnar. But in the last twelve months, several things have changed and Undertaker has turned perceptions around. His recent work has proven that he's still got a lot to offer WWE beyond April 3, 2016. Despite his renewed fire, there are indications that Taker's retirement narrative is already under way. Having only worked one bout a year for years, he recently broke tradition by going on what felt like a farewell tour in 2015. In addition to working WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Hell In A Cell and Survivor Series, he also made several Raw appearances, and even did house show dates in Mexico. The whole "25 years of Undertaker" theme at Survivor Series certainly felt like a recognition of an impending end. But in the process of the "retirement tour", it ended up being more a story of why The Undertaker shouldn't retire at WrestleMania 32.
