10 Reasons WWE Are Inducting Sting Into The Hall Of Fame
Steve Borden's Sting character has long been overdue induction...
The WWE Hall Of Fame is something pro wrestling fans look forward to on an annual basis. Each year, World Wrestling Entertainment looks to honour those who have contributed greatly to their success. Occasionally, they give credit to those who were never even in the WWF/WWE, but that's obviously more rare than those who prospered under the rule of Vince McMahon. For years, Sting worked earnestly in World Championship Wrestling. Staying loyal to the promotion with which he made his name, the man had several chances to sign for the McMahon family, but always turned it down. Even when WCW went out of business as a separate entity in 2001, Sting decided to ply his trade on the independent circuit before heading to TNA. In 2014, he finally joined forces with WWE. Hopes were high that he'd face The Undertaker at long last, but Sting has - thus far - only wrestled against Triple H and Seth Rollins. This week, news surfaced that Sting was being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame class of 2016, something which is long overdue in the eyes of his longtime fans. Recent injury reports suggest there's a chance Sting may not wrestle again, but he can look back on a lengthy, fulfilling career. Without doubt, there are a barrel load of reasons why he deserves the Hall Of Fame treatment.
