10 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Rikishi

He did it for The Rock.

RIkishi is the latest person to be announced as an inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2015. He joins esteemed company in the form of Macho Man Randy Savage and celebrity inductee Arnold Schwarzenegger. When the announcement was made, social media lit up. Somewhat unsurprisingly, many questioned whether Rikishi was worthy of the honour. They cited the fact that he was mainly used as a comedy midcarder for much of his career and that there were, as always, 'more deserving' people who were being overlooked. Rikishi has been in the business for thirty years, comes from the legendary Anoa'i family and his sons The Usos are the current WWE Tag Team Champions. On top of that, Rikishi was a featured act during one of the WWF's hottest periods and was a staple of WWE TV until his release from the company in 2004. Rikishi was also well-liked and respected backstage. One of the most agile big men ever, Rikishi has numerous good matches and was always at least entertaining. Most than just a fat guy who rubs his a** in people's faces, Rikishi has earned his induction. But there are, inevitably, certain things that WWE would like you to forget about the master of the stinkface. WWE will be promoting all of the good aspects of Rikishi's career in the run up to the Hall of Fame ceremony on March 28th, neglecting to mention these more unsavoury ones.
