WWE has largely moved away from their old policy of signing bodybuilders, fitness models, and failed football players. Recent years have seen the company move towards away from inexperienced rookies and towards the likes of Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, and Austin Aries, grizzled road warriors who’ve been plying their trade for years, albeit without the WWE machine.

Becky stands out with one of WWE’s most internationally-diverse resumes, even among such vaunted names as those listed above.

Becky’s pre-WWE career extends far beyond the usual tours of Japan and the American indies. Starting in her native Ireland, she’s wrestled for a diverse range of companies including France’s Queens of Chaos, Germany’s German Stampede Wrestling, and a number of UK-based promotions.

She eventually made her way across the Atlantic, of course, and put-in some serious work for the celebrated Shimmer Women Athletes, and Canada’s SugerGirls Wrestling, where she held the company’s top championship for over 300 days.
