Just over a month ago, Sami Zayns Road to Redemption came to its epic culmination. After a fantastic battle with Adrian Neville at NXT Takeover: R Evolution, everyones favourite flat-cap-clad superstar finally won the big one and was crowned NXT Champion. But despite this, Zayn isnt yet the household name that he realistically deserves to be. As such, theres still a fair bit that we dont know about him. Herein lies the problem with NXT. Of course, Im being exceptionally picky herewe all know that theres nothing inherently wrong with NXT per se. In fact its pretty close to perfect (never change, NXT, never change). But the fact remains that without a spot on network television, the Floridian developmental territory simply doesnt get the same kind of publicity as the Raws and SmackDowns of this world. Consequently, guys like Sami Zayn remain relative unknowns to the more causal audience.
