10 Times Brock Lesnar Won On His First Attempt

The Next Big Thing's Big First Impressions.

Brock Lesnar has had one of the most fascinating, eclectic and polarising careers in not just wrestling, but mixed martial arts and sport as a whole.

Whether you love him or hate him in his current run as The Beast Incarnate and the never-ending game of Where’s Wally when he disappears and arrives at random, you can’t deny his achievements. In success or failure.

From NCAA wrestling champion, to the youngest WWE Champion and NFL hopeful. From UFC Champion to Mayor of Suplex City, The Beast has dipped his toes in any damn pond he likes and more often than not, will bring his foot back out of the water with gold shoes on.

The difference between many other wrestlers and athletes and the achievements of Lesnar, is that The Next Big Thing doesn’t waste his time. Time is money and Lesnar is the king of both.

When he wants something, he gets it, and he’s going to get it first time, every time.

10. Hell In A Cell Match

When: No Mercy 2002

Brock Lesnar's first Hell in a Cell was arguably his best, one of two brutal clashes inside the structure with The Undertaker that will go down as all-time classics for the stipulation.

After a lacklustre double DQ finish against 'The Deadman' at Unforgiven one month prior, the stakes were raised for the following No Mercy pay-per-view and the veteran's signature match was brought into play.

'The Phenom' carried a kayfabe broken arm into the contest… which of course became a weapon straight out of the gate, as both men beat each into a bloody mess over 27 gruelling minutes.

Even Paul Heyman somehow drew blood despite never entering the cell, instead being pummelled against the cage by ‘Taker who managed to grab hold of The Advocate's tie!

An F-5 and iconic pose on top of the cell later and Lesnar was home and hosed with a win under the belt, his WWE Title in tact and a debut cell appearance for the ages.
