10 Times Chris Jericho Has Put Over Fresh Talent

Jericho's selflessness has benefited WWE greatly.

Has there ever been a more self-confident wrestler at such a high level than Chris Jericho? Not only is he a credible main event-caliber wrestler on the merit of his timeless in-ring ability and well-honed verbal chops, but he's also a consummate team-player in an ego-filled business. In an era where young stars with potential sometimes sustain sprained necks from the hard thrusts into a bulletproof glass ceiling, Jericho has been more than generous in helping get new guys over. Certainly, he doesn't have to. With the money he's made as a wrestler, Jericho could definitely have stayed away when his contract expired in 2005, pursuing music and his family life instead of returning to the squared circle. Yet, there he is, eventually making his way back from sabbaticals, bringing his one-of-a-kind persona to the WWE stage. He never stands on ceremony either, always making sure to give a helpful boost to the young talent that needs it most. While the following list is certainly not a complete look at every relative youngster that Jericho's given the rub to, it is a wide spectrum that proves why Chris Jericho, even with his peculiar fashion sense, is the sort of ageless, indispensable ring general WWE needs.
