Amidst the recent racism storm involving Hulk Hogan, it looks as if, this time, there really is no way back for the former poster boy of professional wrestling.
This latest controversy isn't the first time that the Hulkster has looked down and out, though, and he's amazingly bounced back from plenty of missteps, failures and out-and-out stupidity over the decades. Whilst his in-ring career saw him drop the famed leg on his way to squashing many a talent, away from the ring the real life Terry Bollea has dropped many a clanger, both in his professional and personal life.
Quicker than you could say "fire up and make the hot comeback, kid", Hogan has bounced back from (literal) trials and tribulations, seemingly living up to his Immortal moniker in more ways than one. Whatever the problem, the Hulkster has never seemed beat, regardless of the odds stacked against him.
Training, saying prayers and popping vitamins look unlikely to save Hulk Hogan this time, brother, but here's a look at the previous times where Hogan returned from the brink of controversy to again pick up the mantle of being one of the most popular wrestlers of all time.
10. The Stale Babyface Becomes The Villainous Hollywood Hogan

In the early 1990s, Hulk Hogan’s All-American, wholesome, over-the-top persona was played out and fans were getting tired of the same old shtick show after show.
Hogan’s 1994 arrival in WCW saw an initially strong reaction for the Hulkster, but this response would soon begin to wane and Hulk would again become stale and struggle to garner the reactions of the likes of Randy Savage and Sting.
It looked as if the glory days of Hogan’s time at the top of the industry were numbered, but the arrival of Kevin Nash and Scott Hall in the company gave Hulk the perfect opportunity to freshen his character up as he aligned with these new additions, formed the nWo, and became the dastardly Hollywood Hogan in a move which prolonged Hogan’s days at the top and gave him a new lease of life as a performer.
