10 Times Wrestling Was Electrifying

9. TNA Lockdown 2007

A legendary event in the history of both TNA and goofy gimmick matches, Lockdown 2007 hosted the infamous electrified six sides of steel match between LAX and Team 3D.

Where do we even begin?

There is the curious fact that electricity is delivered to the cage via a giant blue tube.

There is the mistimed and hilarious flickering light effect that was "triggered" every time someone hit the cage in order to simulate electrocution. (Alongside that ridiculous bug zapper-on-steroids sound effect that dates back to the lab of Dr. Frankenstein.)

Finally, there are the miracle gloves that allow you to climb up the cage without being affected. Boy, those would've been perfect for climbing the protective fences at Jurassic Park.

More likely to tickle your funny bone than drop your jaw, this is one cage match the company probably wishes didn't shine so bright.
