10 Times WWE Didn’t Have A Clue What To Do At WrestleMania

WrestleMania is the WWE's biggest event of the year. It's the "Grandest Stage of them All." It's "The Showcase of the Immortals." It's the night celebrities from the world of music, television, and movies come out to help celebrate with the larger-than-life superstars of professional wrestling. It's the one night of the year wrestling fans are supposed to count on to get solid in-ring action, a wrap-up to all the biggest storylines and feuds of the last year, and the night all of the top championships are supposed to be defended, with the top contenders for each either feeling that "thrill of victory" or "agony of defeat." Key words there: "Supposed to." Because WrestleMania doesn't always end up the way it's supposed to. One would think that with 10 weeks following the Royal Rumble and 4-5 weeks after Elimination Chamber, the WWE would have enough time to set up the proper feuds fans want to see; to plan out the show so all the matches worth anything get plenty of in-ring time; and that a celebrity or two can make a brief, goodwill appearance before letting the action return to the ring. But some years, WWE just doesn't get it right. This year's WrestleMania- WrestleMania 30- may still fall into that category, with the front office refusing to listen to the "Yes Movement" and the anti-Batista contingent for the longest time; they may have ultimately saved themselves there, giving Daniel Bryan a shot at the WrestleMania moment he built-to since last year's SummerSlam. Unfortunately, other years, the fans weren't so lucky. Here are the Top 10 Times The WWE Did Not Have a Clue What To Do At WrestleMania.
