10 TNA Stars That Could Return To WWE

They worked for WWE before. Could they be brought back if TNA were to fold?

The rumors of TNA Wrestling losing their Spike TV slot for their weekly show Impact Wrestling have dominated the wrestling headlines this week. While TNA isn't a company that is winning over viewers, they still get over 1 million people tuning in every week in the US. That's not easy to do. They deserve credit for surviving for 12 years and getting to the point where they are at. However, if it's true that Spike TV doesn't want to give them a new deal then their future is very much in doubt. They need that exposure and money. It would be a bad thing for the wrestling business to see Impact die. That's because it would hurt the wrestlers that work their asses off to entertain us. While it's not a huge roster right now, there are about 40 people on screen and dozens behind the scenes that the end of TNA would affect. Maybe in the long term they'll bounce back in some way in some other company, but in the short term it would hurt so many people. Looking at this story from a talent perspective, there are a number of TNA stars that were once WWE employees and perhaps they could be again. It's time to take a look at some of the TNA performers that WWE might have an interest in. There are always factors when it comes to decisions like that such as a wrestler's age, injury history and the fact that WWE is dealing with financial concerns of their own. To be on the list, a person has to have been under contract in WWE at some point. Guys like Bobby Roode and Samoa Joe wrestled in dark matches in WWE, but they weren't in the company under contract. Only those under contract can qualify. It's pretty easy to understand. Here's a look at ten current TNA stars that used to work for WWE that could end up going "home" again.
