10 Wildest WCW Moments

6. Scott Hall Is Told To Act Drunk On TV

Even in the past few years, Scott Hall's personal problems have been laid bare for all to see. It's widely accepted that Hall may have ended up as another wrestling casualty had Diamond Dallas Page not helped his friend get back on track a few years ago. As far back as the 1990's, Hall's life was a wild mix of booze, drugs and bad decision-making. WCW management didn't help proceedings by virtually encouraging the star to give in to his vices. A known alcoholic, Hall was booked to portray one on television. In other words, this gave him permission to turn up for shows under the influence, something which only exacerbated the problems he was experiencing in his real life. The late-90's proved to be a tumultuous time for the guy, both on screen and off. This was a stupid idea from those writing the storylines. Known as 'Last Call' Scott Hall, the wrestler was encouraged to act drunk and in a stupor. The basis of a 1998 feud against Kevin Nash was that Nash was growing tired of Hall's drunken antics. He was even booked to vomit on Eric Bischoff and carry drinks to the ring with him.
