10 Worst WWE PPV Gimmick Matches

9. Kane Vs. The Undertaker: Buried Alive Match (10/24/10)

Yokozuna Undertaker

With all due respect to The Undertaker and his amazing career, he was asked to take part in some pretty lousy matches in those two and a half decades. In the fall of 2010, Undertaker was working through a serious shoulder injury when he had to blow off yet another feud with Kane. The presence of Paul Bearer and a Buried Alive match conjured up memories of a bygone era, only neither man was as spry as their Attitude heyday.

"The Dead Man" was at less than 100 percent, and his offence looked downright tame. Even Kane was clearly going easy on him in parts. The match, to settle the long-simmering blood feud, was a whole lot of emptiness until The Nexus got involved for some reason and tried to assist with the burial.

Underwhelming in just about every way.
