10 Wrestlers Who Desperately Need New Finishers

Time to learn some new moves.

For an example of a good finisher, look no further than Randy Orton's RKO or Roman Reigns' Spear. Both are quickly executed, sudden and impactful. Another solid example, albeit with a twist, would be Samoa Joe's Coquina Clutch; it's awesome to watch Joe's chunky frame wrap around another helpless wrestler, and the fact he can put it on pretty much anybody on the roster is the icing on the cake.

That's not all a great finisher needs. It also must fit a wrestler's character, be over enough that it can credibly finish a match (what good is an end move that fans know will only lead to a near fall?) and look cool. Finding the right one when almost everything has been done before must be a nightmare.

It's a nightmare the names on this list have to wake up from and get thinking about, because the finishers they have range from dreadful to ill-fitting or stale.

Word of warning: you're not going to agree with everything here, but it's this writer's firm belief that the examples within require change. As Jim Ross once reportedly said to several prospects in WWE, they need to 'go away for a while and learn a new hold'...
