The summer of 2014 has been an eventful time for WWE thanks to a number of things including surprise releases, a new WWE logo being released, WWE Network being added to 170 countries this week and of course the "biggest party of the summer" takes place this weekend too. This Sunday night's SummerSlam PPV is expected to be a very good show. It has the potential to be great depending on match quality, booking and things of that nature, but we're likely going to have a lot to talk about too. Whether Lesnar or Cena wins on Sunday, Raw the next night will be a big deal because that's when we're expected to see the new WWE Title too. The days of the WWE World Heavyweight Champion carrying around two titles appear to be over, which is a welcome sight for those of that are sick of seeing two titles represent one item. We have been reading for months that WWE plans to make September's Night of Champions a big event with a special feel to it. That's because the people that signed up for WWE Network in February with a six month commitment will have their six months expire at the end of August. It will be up to WWE to create some compelling storylines to keep people interested and make those fans continue to pay the $9.99 monthly price (or $12.99 per month if you only want one month) going forward.
