10 WWE Questions You Most Want Answered (Jan 19)

Did WWE book themselves into a corner on Raw?

We're rapidly approaching that time of year where everything in WWE suddenly gets a little more high-stakes: the Road to WrestleMania. It's traditionally a time when wrestling fans begin to get a little jumpy, which is entirely understandable given the magnitude of 'Mania, and the pressure on the show to do well. The past two years have seen WWE's fanbase on the verge of a full-blown revolt in the aftermath of a Royal Rumble PPV, so should we be preparing for mutiny once more in 2016? Sure, WWE managed to knock it out of the park at the WrestleManias following the Rumble blunders, but would they have even done so had the fans not shown such discontent with the product? It therefore makes sense that a lot of this week's questions have a negative bent to them - from wrong and unfair booking decisions to the potential futures of stagnating midcard talent. However, WWE fans can hardly be blamed for feeling a little sceptical around this time of year. It's simply been ingrained in us by this stage.

10. Have WWE Booked Themselves Into A Corner By Making Roman Reigns The No. 1 Rumble Entrant?

@SK_TheWarrior asks a question a lot of us are probably wondering after last night's Raw. It's hard to disagree with the idea that WWE have indeed booked themselves into a corner. Putting Reigns at number one doesn't guarantee that he'll win the match, but it pretty much guarantees that he'll feature for most of it. In placing him in a position of such prominence, WWE have essentially admitted that he is currently bigger than the sum of every other storyline going into the Rumble. Sure, other angles can be explored and tweaked in the match itself, but you have to expect that Roman will be a constant presence - until the final four at the very least. I see only one real solution for WWE: have Reigns eliminated shockingly early on, whether via brute force (Brock Lesnar) or Authorit trickery (Triple H). This would then lead to a very dramatic match, with the crowd aware that a new champion is guaranteed at the end of it.
