10 WWE Roster Trades That Must Happen In 2018

2. Finn Bálor To SmackDown

Things were looking rosy for Finn Bálor until that defeat to Kane and then those reports that he no longer commands the faith of Vince McMahon, who has reportedly scrapped plans for a showdown with Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble.

The chairman of the board has an eye on both shows, so it's not as though the Demon King would be free from those lingering doubts if he rocks up on Tuesday nights - but a change of scenery should do him the world of good.

The Raw roster, at the moment, is just too stacked for an emerging talent like Finn to earn his stripes. There are at least six or seven bodies standing between him and a chance in the main event, two of which belong to Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

And, since a move to SmackDown would allow a reunion with fellow NJPW alumni AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura, we'd also get some great matches out of it too. Perhaps great enough even to convince Vince that the Irishman does have some star-potential after all (but, then again, perhaps not).
