Storylines in the WWE are changing all the time, with fresh and exciting ideas often coming from nowhere to take the company by storm. Over the last few years, we have seen some really encapsulating storylines - take CM Punk's threat to leave the WWE with the WWE Championship back in 2011, for example. The company - and its roster - is in a really interesting place right now, with some potential openings on the horizon for some guys who have slipped down the pecking order. After the company's two midcard championships - the Intercontinental and United States Championship belts - have been given a relative push of late, there are plenty of storylines that could emerge over the coming months. As we approach the midway point of the year, we are beginning to get a clear direction for where the company is heading after WrestleMania XXX. That doesn't mean we won't see even more twists and turns before the calendar turns over into 2015, with plenty of pay-per-view shows and prospective pushes still in the pipeline before the year is out. There are several storylines that simply have to happen looking forward - and they are storylines that would surely help more than one or two guys. A heel turn or a face turn for someone could create an entirely new opening for a forgotten star, for example. In order to keep excitement levels high for the rest of the year, some dramatic storylines really wouldn't go amiss.
