10 WWE Superstars Who Performed The Perfect Elbow Drop

9. Dolph Ziggler

tumblrtumblrAlthough the vast majority of the elbow drops listed here are flying or diving elbow drops, there is no rule against some of the more stylish, ground-based elbows making an appearance here, hence Dolph Ziggler€™s heart-stopper elbows. Ziggler started doing this in the waning days of his heeldom, and it has continued as a move to get fans to count along as he drops nine rapid-fire elbows before spinning, leaping high into the air and planting a 10th elbow on a downed opponent. The sheer speed at which Ziggler drops the elbows, gets back up and drops another is impressive, and it shows a competitor who gets the concept of wearing an opponent down. Repeated elbows like that take a toll and hurt a lot more than one second rope elbow drop. Sure, Ziggler€™s not going to pin anyone, but at least thanks to Jerry Lawler, it€™s known as the heart-stopper elbows.
