12 Burning Questions For WWE Raw (Feb 1)

Can WWE go a week without a top star getting injured?

Sign-pointing season is upon us, as WWE superstars will habitually and almost unconsciously point vigorously at a lit-up banner for WrestleMania Star (XXXII for us traditionalists). But before we can get to WWE€™s signature event, which takes place in nine weeks, we first have to contend with Fastlane in three weeks, a PPV that will (presumably) set the table for Mania€™s main event and other matches. Typically, the Royal Rumble would have established the #1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but WWE broke with 23 years of tradition this year and instead the Rumble was held as a world title defense. Thus, we still need a #1 contender for the championship (though it€™s pretty obvious that former champ Roman Reigns is the guy going forward). Hence, our Fastlane main event of Reigns versus Dean Ambrose versus Brock Lesnar. Although the main event is set, there still is a question of how the rest of the card for the last PPV before WrestleMania will shake out. Monday€™s edition of Raw should help bring things more into focus regarding title matches and other grudges. There€™s still plenty of time before 'Mania, but we should see the wheels turning in certain directions. With that said, let€™s take a look as some of the big questions that should be answered on Monday Night Raw€

12. What Happens With League Of Nations?

It's bad enough that the League of Nations has been treated as a mid-card faction whose only function seems to be as cannon fodder for main event stars like Roman Reigns. But then the quartet effectively became a trio of wrestlers when King Barrett went down with an injury in December, which has kept him out of the ring for nearly two months. Now, it looks like Sheamus is out with an arm injury, and it€™s being reported that Alberto Del Rio is dealing with a back injury. We haven€™t seen the League on television since the injuries reportedly happened, but if true, then it could mean WWE has a heel faction of four wrestlers with only one wrestler cleared to perform in the ring. That just isn€™t going to cut it. If this is true, could this mean that the group gets dissolved? Or does it mean that the faction is bolstered by new members? Perhaps we'll find out on the upcoming edition of Raw.
