13 Things We Learned From Bayley On Talk Is Jericho

Has frustration finally begun to set in for the popular superstar?

When the 2016 WWE draft took place this week, many fans automatically assumed that Bayley would be one of the six designated NXT picks chosen for either Raw or SmackDown.

Unfortunately for Bayley and her fans that wasn't the case, and for the time being she remains in the developmental promotion with her immediate future in question,

The consensus opinion is that she'll make her debut at Battleground as the mystery partner of Sasha Banks in her war vs Charlotte and Dana Brooke, but personally I think it will be Nia Jax to step into that role. Bayley herself has said she doesn't want to be thrust into the spotlight too quickly, preferring to come along slowly and be given time to grow before the audience.

As one of the most popular wrestlers in any of WWE's three different brands, Bayley is poised to make an impact and the time is right to push her to the main roster and let her do her thing. She's an amazing talent with the potential to be the female John Cena (minus the smark resentment) and could be a big moneymaker for WWE for years to come.

"The Hugger" sat down with Chris Jericho for an engaging conversation that covered a variety of topics, including whether or not she's begun to feel frustrated at being held back in NXT while the rest of her peers get their turns on the much bigger stage of Raw and SmackDown.

It's a fantastic interview so read along to find out what we learned...

13. Connecting With The Fans

Chris welcomes Bayley to the show and calls her one of the most frequently requested guests for his show, saying that everyone wants to know her story and they all seem to love her. He credits her as being one of the very top stars in NXT.

Jericho compliments Bayley on her amazing connection with the fans and wants to know what it feels like to have that special relationship with the audience. She replies that in the early years of wrestling that was something she'd never felt before, but once she began playing the Bayley character it seemed like the fans just "got" her.

In her debut match as Bayley under the WWE umbrella she wrestled Alicia Fox and to this day she still thinks back to the reaction she received. The response was unlike anything she'd ever experienced during her years of working on the independent scene, where she says she felt like "just another wrestler."
