It's that time of year again!

No, it's not Christmas, it's not WrestleMania, it's not even time yet to go back to school, but it is time for the 2016 edition of San Diego Comic Con and with that comes tons of new WWE action figure reveals.

For any WWE action figure collector, this is one of the most exciting weekends of the year as Mattel brings a tonne of new products and presentations to San Diego in order to reveal to the world much of what they are expecting to release for the rest of 2016 and beyond.

From NXT superstars to WWE Hall Of Famers, Mattel has a full road map for the rest of the year already lined up and some of these action figures have to be seen to be believed.

The following article will take a look at the 15 greatest reveals from this past weekend at SDCC and which toys have garnered the most attention and are the most anticipated.

15. Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake (Elite 49)

Starting off the list is an action figure of a classic original World Wrestling Federation superstar that has been a long time in the making.

Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake has been produced by all three major lines of WWE action figures starting with LJN then Hasbro followed by Jakks. With Mattel announcing Brutus' planned release for the Elite 49 series, this will soon put The Barber in a select group of superstars that have been immortalized in action figure form by all 4 toy manufacturers.

While the colors have yet to be revealed, the renders released by Mattel show the figure to feature the iconic look of The Barber from 1988 through 1990 (minus the time he had his hair cut short around SummerSlam '89).

The Elite Beefcake figure looks to come packaged with the famous hedge clippers that he would always carry to the ring.

No 1980s action figure collection of the World Wrestling Federation is complete without a Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake and, come 2017, collectors will finally have him.
