15 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of The Week (Nov 8)

Never slap Asuka. It's really not worth it.

World Champions, the wrestlers who can rightfully claim to be the face of their promotions, have become almost an endangered species as of late. Proof of this lies no further than at the top of two of the most notable promotions today.

WWE found itself without their top title holder Seth Rollins due to a knee injury sustained this week in Dublin. This sucks for Seth and has caused massive intrigue as to how the company will handle this unfortunate shakeup. It's also a shame because Roman Reigns was positioned well as his next challenge over a few weeks of quality in-ring action.

TNA, on the other hand, saw Matt Hardy vacate his title a few weeks back to save Dixie Carter the hassle of a promised legal battle by Ethan Carter III. This absolutely was planned and immediately launched a World Title Series that has provided purpose to their programming.

Despite the uncertainty at the top tier, competition still continues. Wrestlers try to entertain and even occasionally pull off a jaw-dropping moment or two, which is what this article is all about. Fifteen of the best moments that have happened inside the squared circle (and that six-sided one, too) have been compiled in .gif form to relive over and over again.

Remember to not try any of these moves at home, especially slapping Asuka. If you try that one, you're pretty much asking to get your arm broke.

15. Monkey Flip 450 Splash

The Lucha Dragons have yet to make a serious run for the WWE Tag Team Championships since jumping to the main roster. Over the past two weeks, however, they've really been positioned well.

The Dragons won a four team match a couple of Smackdowns ago and then defeated the team of Wade Barrett and Sheamus on Raw. Call me crazy but Sin Cara and Kalisto might be on the verge of relevancy.

When a team is booked strong enough to be relevant, their moves start to matter as well. One such move is this monkey flip 450 splash that they did in their tag match on Monday night. They've done this spot before, and it's a beauty of a double team move, but now that they're on a little bit of a winning streak it makes it so much more worthwhile.

Despite the momentum, they did lose alongside the Prime Time Players in an elimination-style Survivor Series match on Smackdown. Oh well, can't win them all.
