15 Worst Attires In WrestleMania History

Fashion faux-pas at the grandaddy of them all.

WWE wants, no, WWE NEEDS everything to go perfectly at WrestleMania. There are never more eyes on the WWE product than at WrestleMania and WWE can't afford to have anyone show up the company. The wrestlers know this and dress accordingly. Most of the guys and girls order special ring and entrance gear for the occasion at great expense. A lot of thought goes into their attire on the night. Rey Mysterio, for example, debuted a new one-night-only look at each of his 'Mania appearances. There has been some iconic gear worn at WrestleMania. You don't think of Shawn Michaels' boyhood dream coming true without also remembering his white and gold attire and you don't think of The Ultimate Warrior winning the WWF Championship without picturing him in his colourful orange trunks and tassels either. There has also been some gear that has been remembered for all of the wrong reasons. Nobody wants to look like an idiot at WrestleMania, but there have been superstars who have been red-faced thanks to their fashion faux-pas. With the knowledge that WrestleMania footage is going to be endlessly replayed on WWE TV for decades to come, you better make sure that you look the part.

15. Giant Gonzalez - WrestleMania IX

Which brings us to number one and the worst outfit in WrestleMania, if not wrestling, history. Giant Gonzalez is one of the most awful wrestlers of all-time so it was only fair that he be given the worst singlet known to man to wear to the ring.

Did the WWF really think they were fooling anyone with those airbrushed muscles or was it intentionally crap?
