18 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SmackDown (18 Oct)

Corey Graves lies about WWE 2K20, The Miz trolls Brock Lesnar and more...

Daniel Bryan Shinsuke Nakamura

If WWE can pivot towards an extended feud beyond their unnecessary Crown Jewel stadium show in Saudi Arabia, then Daniel Bryan vs. Shinsuke Nakamura wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. With Sami Zayn at ringside doing his thing, fans bursting to cheer for DB again and the Intercontinental Title in the mix, it could actually steal headlines for all the right reasons.

It couldn't steal this week's episode of SmackDown though. Otis Dozovic's...interesting apron, WWE's bold explanation for Kofi Kingston's misplaced happiness, The Miz throwing shade on Brock Lesnar and the video team's expertise put paid to that. All of those were hidden gems you might've missed from this week's Friday night delight.

Others on the list include Corey Graves proving that he hasn't been paying attention to the pre-release cycle of 2K20, Michael Cole linking Mandy Rose to one of wrestling's greatest families and Sonya Deville looking out for her buddy after an accidental leg drop.

Here's everything you could easily have missed from the blue brand's latest. It's worth keeping your eyes peeled during that AC/DC intro...
