13. Triple H

One of the only times Triple H even allowed himself be underrated let alone actually be it, 2008 was the year 'The Game' reminded fans of the form of old with a surprising switch to the blue brand that fostered permanent superstar supremacy for John Cena, Randy Orton and others on Monday Night Raw.

WWE Champion for most of the tenure, Hunter mixed it up with Jeff Hardy, Edge and even The Great Khali during a remarkably enjoyable autumn run. His prior time on SmackDown had largely pre-dated the brand extension era - this was a genuine (and genuinely rare) commitment to a cause beyond his own.
