21 Most Insane Wrestling Spots Of The Week (August 30)

There's seriously a spot from Total Divas this week.

WWE has given the wrestling world a ton of content in the past week. In addition to their regularly scheduled programming, which included a Sting and a Dudley Boyz return, they had two WWE Network special events. It wasn't even all filler; much of it was actually pretty good.

Even though this is the biggest edition of "Most Insane Spots" yet with twenty-one entries, there is not a ton of diversity in the companies that are featured this time around. A combination of not nearly as much content being offered from the other promotions and the lack of buzz to make the needed content as readily available means that the big dogs in Titan Towers are dominating this .gif-heavy article this time around.

Even though I'm crossing my fingers that Lucha Underground returns soon, I'm still vigilant. Apparently, Tamina Snuka battled a drunk guy on Total Divas. It was insane, maybe for the wrong reasons, but it was very intriguing.

For the uninitiated to this article series, a spot is defined as being 'insane' for a plethora of reasons. A heightened degree of danger in a move, a massive amount of emotion built into the moment, or even a maneuver that's too silly to believe - all can qualify a spot as being insane. There are twenty-one of them from the previous week and weekend packed into this article, all for your enjoyment...

21. Air Enzo

It's more than a little baffling why the tag team of Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady didn't wrestle on the NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn live broadcast, but at least this massively over duo were recorded for the episode of NXT that followed.

The sellout crowd adored Enzo and followed along to every word of his entertaining intro. Then during the match, after the babyface foursome (they were battling alongside the Hype Bros.) dumped all of their opponents out of the ring, Amore took a running start off the ropes. His 7 foot tall partner gave him the lift assist as he was launched out of the ring to take out Dawson, Wilder, Jordan, and Gable.
