Happy New Year one and all!

The very first episode of Dynamite in 2020 was an important one for AEW, and (to quasi-quote MJF) they knew it. The show clearly focused on strong in-ring action, which is something the roster excel at, but there was also some more storyline set up for big pay-per-view matches like Cody vs. MJF and Chris Jericho vs. Jon Moxley too.

A blockbuster episode means a blockbuster number of things you could've missed when watching the two-hour reset for AEW's weekly. There are 21 on offer here, including Jim Ross getting rather cranky with those feeding information through his headset backstage, Hangman Page transforming into Scott Hall circa 1998-1999 before our very eyes, fans booing other fans and Sammy Guevara quite literally making an arse of himself.

Prepare for trolling fans too. There were loads of signs at Daily's Place in Jacksonville aimed squarely at one Vincent Kennedy McMahon, and there were some potshots for Triple H and WWE's upcoming NFL alternative as well.
