Another week in WWE and yet another potentially devastating injury: this time the offending booboo comes courtesy of Seth Rollins' torn MCL, which will hopefully be healed in time for him to actually do something at WrestleMania. Speaking of which, we've now got some vague suggestion of how that PPV might look thanks to Royal Rumble's divisive story-telling and the stories that have sprung out from it.

It was a historic week for WWE, with John Cena crowned for the 16th time (and rightly so after a great match with AJ Styles), but the Rumble was another frustratingly uneven event for a company that seems to court booking controversy. But then at least Samoa Joe made the step up on Raw to help wipe away some of the taste.

Elsewhere came the news that WWE tried out 42 potential new recruits in Florida, and that they're trying to recruit some former female talent to help cement the Women's Revolution. The talent hoovering continues. They could do a lot worse than trawling Instagram to find out who is in the best form (cough Torrie Wilson cough).

Two legends, united by their insane achievements. It seems only inevitable that the one on the right will eventually surpass his forebear - all that matters now is how WWE book the occasion. Let's just hope there's no Roman Reigns involvement.
