26 WTF Moments From WWE Raw (Sept 26)

Clash Of Champions was OK, wasn't it? It certainly didn't leave you with the smile that SmackDown Live's Backlash did, but a series of decent matches - with one too many screwy finish, mind you - made for a throughly enjoyable evening. Nothing spectacular, just a nice show.

However, yet another WWE show went off the air with a major injury concern looming large over it. Seth Rollins took a monumental Kevin Owens Gutbuster from the middle rope that saw the Universal Champion's knee pierce The Architect's ribs. Rollins was filmed attending a local medical facility in the hours before Monday's show which prompted the internet the lose their minds.

Needless to say, I'm sure we're in for plenty of conspiracy theories involving Stephanie McMahon and the role she played in the ending to that main event in the coming weeks...

As you all know, I love Rusev. I think he's great. I'm absolutely disgusted by the referee's actions in his United States Championship match. The ref threw the rulebook out of the window just to ensure Roman Reigns had the best possible chance to capture the title. The sooner my bae RuRu gets his rematch and takes back what is rightfully his, the better. Nothing against Roman, by the way, I think he's great too (minus a few cringeworthy moves and his character of course) but the ref certainly helped him out in this instance.

But yes, we start with a moment that doesn't belong in this list, but I feel compelled to explain why due to the sheer numbers that contacted me during the course of Monday's show.

Of course, a couple of Clash Of Champions rematches taking place one day after their originals saw literally hundreds of you Tweet me crying "New Era, same old sh*t!" While I can see your cases for the announcements of two rematches to make this list, they simply can't in this instance.

Championship matches have rematch clauses insterted into the contracts, people; especially Rusev/Reigns as a title switch took place. These matches were destined to happen sooner or later.

Heck, we're getting one more rematch next week when Brian Kendrick goes in search of the Cruiserweight Championship once again. That won't be in next week's list either.
