4 Ups And Downs From This Week's TNA Impact Wrestling (Jan 25)

Another mixed bag from Impact Wrestling leaves us just as confused as we were last week.

This week we saw the second taped episode of Impact Wrestling on Destination America. And once again we got a bit of a mixed bag. There was some great in-ring action punctuated by awful finishes. There was some entertaining backstage segments, followed by some of the worst acting imaginable. And we saw the perfectly timed arrival of the winner of British Boot Camp 2 completely go to waste as the crowd clearly had absolutely no idea who he was. Most interestingly though, we also got to see just how awful the NYPD are as members of the Impact roster had a brawl on the streets of New York City, in full view of a police car and nobody did anything. Well that€™s not true €“ some bystanders filmed them on their cell phones, and some girls pointed and laughed at the action. But apparently assault and street fighting in New York City is all good, just as long as you have an Impact TV crew there to capture the chaos. All joking aside though it€™s hard to tell what the long term quality of Impact is going to be like going forward as they try to rebuild on Destination America. It€™s pretty inconsistent at the moment, but hopefully they€™re learning as they go. To give you a bit of a recap here are four of the things that Impact did right this week, and four of the things that they can hopefully avoid repeating in the future.
