Bray Wyatt is finally back, and he’s back as The Fiend!

This week on Raw, Bray made his much-anticipated return to the WWE wearing his terrifying Fiend mask from the Firefly Fun House. The lights went down, he lay waste to Finn Bálor and now the big question is who will the new Bray Wyatt face at SummerSlam? Does the attack guarantee it will be Finn, or was he just the first of what will be many unfortunate victims leading up to the biggest party of the summer? At this stage the door is still wide open for all sorts of possible feuds.

Ever since the first Firefly Fun House video, there has been much speculation as to how WWE will bring back Bray Wyatt and how his latest persona will play out. There will likely be two incarnations of Bray now. The happy jolly children’s host and The Fiend. It was The Fiend which appeared first and given the mask looks pretty snug, we can expect Bray to wrestle entire matches with it on.

The Fiend is like having a whole new wrestler debut and fans are excited to see who he will face first. The best part is, even old well-trodden opponents now have the potential to feel fresh and exciting. With such a high-profile stage up next in SummerSlam, let’s take a look at 5 potential adversaries for The Fiend.

5. Finn Bálor

Probably the most likely match after what happened on Raw, and Finn is a fine choice for The Fiend. There is every indication that The Fiend will be to Bray Wyatt what The Demon is to Finn Bálor. A mythical version of the man which can be possessed when needed. Whether The Fiend is a more regular occurrence though, or only doled out as sporadically as The Demon, remains to be seen.

While alter egos may be a tantalising element of this feud, if this match were to take place at SummerSlam, Finn’s undefeated Demon must absolutely NOT be involved. The Demon isn't quite ready for a loss and the most important thing for Bray in his first big match back, is a win. He simply cannot start losing or his momentum will immediately be lost and all the hype will have been for nought.

If Finn really does want some time away from WWE, then a barbaric beating from The Fiend would be the perfect way to write him off for a while. Then he can return and perhaps summon The Demon for a high-profile rematch.
